01 / GALOR SOCIAL

One GALOR. A whole social world.

GALOR Social belongs to galorweb.works. It brings connection, entertainment, publishing, communities, business and AI creation into the existing GALOR experience.

  • Audience: people, creators, learners, communities and businesses. The existing developer network becomes the first community, not the boundary of the product.
  • Member loop: discover → follow or join → create → converse → return. Creator loop: publish → understand audience → improve → earn.
  • Product principles: useful connection; control over recommendations; accessible creation; clear privacy; honest status; fair and understandable monetization.
  • Primary address: /social. Keep /network and existing post/profile URLs working. Keep GALOR’s main site, store, workstations and account in place.
  • Launch on a responsive web app. Add installable PWA support after account and notification flows are stable; native apps follow demonstrated demand.

02 / GALOR SOCIAL

Build from the real foundation.

Repository inspection found a Vinext application using React, TypeScript, Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2 and a shared GALOR header/footer. Do not replace it with an unrelated Next.js/PostgreSQL rewrite.

  • Implemented: persistent profiles with cropped pictures and banners; text, link, photo gallery and native MP4/WebM posts; comments/replies, reactions, follows, saves, blocks, reports and moderator actions.
  • The approved blue, slate and ivory Social shell now reads and writes the real network API. Profile publishing, media tabs, Home, Clips, Watch, Live and Creator Studio share one member identity and permission system.
  • Browser live broadcasting uses a dedicated Cloudflare Realtime SFU application and TURN key. Camera/microphone controls, screen sharing, member/follower audiences, persisted chat, up to 100 viewers, a 45-minute limit, optional local replay recording and replay publication are implemented.
  • Identity uses trusted Sites sign-in headers or verified Cloudflare Access tokens. NETWORK_OPEN enables member participation; NETWORK_PUBLIC_READ remains false. Posts offer GALOR members, followers and Only me. Live rooms offer members or followers.
  • The original example design is kept separately at /social/design. Its examples are not activity or analytics. The main /social experience contains actual member data and honest empty states.
  • Remaining roadmap: communities, direct messages, notifications, scheduled posts, managed video transcoding/captions, multi-guest studios, OBS ingest, creator analytics, Social AI jobs, subscriptions and payouts. Existing GALOR AI and commerce routes retain their own access and purchase rules.

03 / GALOR SOCIAL

A place for every kind of expression.

A persistent desktop rail, spacious main canvas and useful discovery column form the shell. On mobile, show Home, Clips, Create, Live and Inbox in a bottom bar, with the rest in an accessible menu.

  • Design language: pale blue, slate, cobalt and warm ivory, generous typography and restrained motion. Reuse GALOR’s brand and shared directory; use content instead of decorative dashboard clutter.
  • Home: Following, Discover and Saved. Following stays chronological. Discover starts with explicit interests and editorial/community signals; explain recommendations and offer reset and “not interested.”
  • Post types: text, image galleries, native video, link cards, polls, articles, events and community posts. Show author, audience, accessibility metadata, AI disclosure and clear interaction controls.
  • Creation: choose format → set audience/community → add caption/alt text → optional AI assistance → preview → publish or schedule. Drafts autosave with recovery and visible synchronization status.
  • Profile: avatar, cover, bio, links, follow/message controls and Posts / Videos / Live / About tabs. Privacy, blocked states, pending requests, loading, errors and empty states are designed explicitly.
  • Discovery: people, posts, videos, live events and communities with a common search box, filters and safe indexing. Notifications link to the actual content and respect quiet hours.
  • Accessibility: keyboard operation, visible focus, semantic headings, screen-reader labels, 44px targets, readable contrast, reduced motion, captions/transcripts and no forced autoplay with sound.

04 / GALOR SOCIAL

Everything has a home.

Keep the social application under the main domain with stable, shareable routes. Items below marked planned are route contracts, not claims of implemented endpoints.

  • Delivered: /social and /social/feed (real chronological feed), /social/profile (your profile and publisher), /social/settings/profile (profile editor), /social/u/:username and /social/p/:id. Legacy /network URLs and /api/network endpoints remain compatible.
  • Delivered discovery: /social/clips (native videos up to three minutes), /social/watch (native videos), /social/saved, and search for actual posts and people from the Social search field.
  • Delivered live/creator: /social/live, /social/live/new, /social/live/:id, /social/studio and /social/moderation. Live participants must be signed-in members with profiles and permission to see the backing live post.
  • Planning references: /social/blueprint and /social/design. Communities, private messages, notifications, advanced studio tools and creator earnings are planned; example design data does not power the live product.
  • Post and media reads enforce audience, blocks, bans and removal on the server. Social pages use noindex metadata and private API responses use no-store caching.

05 / GALOR SOCIAL

One account, clear permissions.

Use the existing verified identity at launch and map it to a durable GALOR account. Changing identity providers later must preserve profiles, posts and purchase ownership.

  • Identity contract: account ID is internal and immutable; auth_identities stores a unique provider + subject mapping. Never link accounts by an unverified matching email.
  • Roles: visitor, member, creator, community moderator, platform moderator and administrator. Community moderator authority is scoped to that community; creator is a capability, not an administrator.
  • Onboarding: authenticate → age/terms gate → choose unique handle → profile → interests → privacy defaults → follow/join → first contribution. Skip optional steps; keep username availability and errors clear.
  • Privacy: public or approved-follower profiles, per-post audiences, mentions, message requests, blocks, mute, discoverability, read receipts and activity visibility. Server enforcement is required in every read/write path.
  • Security: session revocation, recovery, privileged-user MFA and sensitive-action reauthentication. Verify provider support before claiming recovery/MFA. Offer passkeys or alternate login only through a reviewed identity integration.
  • Member controls: export account data, request deletion, revoke connected apps and inspect active sessions. Define deletion handling for media, search, derived AI data, backups and required financial records.
  • Initial release proposal: adults 18+ while minor-specific design and legal review remain unresolved. This is a proposed product policy, not a legal compliance conclusion.

06 / GALOR SOCIAL

A feed people control.

Extend the existing post/follow service with audience-aware media and communities. Start with predictable feeds, measure quality, and evolve ranking after sufficient real data exists.

  • Following is time ordered with a stable created_at + ID cursor. Apply audience, block, removal and membership filters before counting or paging. Avoid offset pagination for growing feeds.
  • Discover uses explicit interests, followed communities, freshness and diversity. Cap repeated-author exposure, label promoted posts and show why each recommendation appears.
  • Signals: intentional follows, saves, completed watches and useful conversation; never infer private sensitive attributes for targeting. Give users interest editing, feed reset and opt-outs.
  • Mutations use idempotency keys. Durable post writes and outbox events share a transaction; counters and notifications are asynchronous and repairable. Reposts preserve original attribution and removal rules.
  • Polls enforce one active vote per account and a server closing time. Scheduled posts recheck author permissions, audience and media readiness before publication.
  • Exit checks: stable paging under concurrent inserts; blocked/private/removed content never leaks; duplicate publish retries produce one post; scheduled jobs tolerate duplicate delivery.

07 / GALOR SOCIAL

Clips and Watch, one media library.

Delivered: profile photo galleries and native MP4/WebM playback across profile media tabs, Clips and Watch. Managed processing, captions, playlists and adaptive delivery remain roadmap work.

  • Current pipeline: owned staged uploads in R2; JPEG conversion and metadata stripping for photos; 5 MiB multipart video uploads with retries; explicit publish; authorized Range/HEAD playback. Up to 10 attachments and one video per post, 500 MB/one-hour video limits, 100 uploads/2 GB per account per day. MP4/WebM codec support follows the viewer browser; no automatic transcoding is claimed.
  • Upload flow: authenticated quota reservation → short-lived direct upload URL → provider upload → verified completion event → processing → safety checks → ready → publication. A browser callback cannot mark media ready.
  • Use R2 for images, thumbnails and export artifacts. Evaluate Cloudflare Stream for hosted video, transcoding and adaptive playback. Do not pass video bytes through the Worker or build an encoder into its request handler.
  • States: draft, uploading, processing, review, ready, failed, deleted. Store provider asset IDs, owner, checksum where available, duration, dimensions, status and deletion state. Reconcile missing webhooks.
  • Playback checks authorization before signing access, uses short token expiry and avoids public caching of private URLs. Member UI includes captions, transcript, speed, volume and report controls.
  • Suggested beta quotas: 10 images per post; 10MB per image; 90-second clips; 10-minute standard uploads; reserve upload duration before issuing a URL. These are proposed configurable product limits.
  • Respect reduced motion and data saver. Default audio off, preload only adjacent clips, pause offscreen players, preserve keyboard controls and avoid infinite playback for people who disable it.
  • Exit checks: interrupted upload recovery; forged/replayed completion rejection; private playback denial; deletion of originals/derivatives; accessible captions; smooth adaptive playback on real mobile networks.

08 / GALOR SOCIAL

Live is an experience, not a badge.

Delivered: browser broadcasting through Cloudflare Realtime SFU, with TURN connectivity, authenticated viewer negotiation and persisted chat. The enhancements below describe the broader live roadmap.

  • Current live release: one host, camera/microphone controls and screen sharing; members/followers audiences; 100 viewer slots; 45 minutes per room and six sessions per account per day. Leaving, ending, blocking, unfollowing a follower-only host, bans and live-post removal close provider tracks. Local replay recording pauses while the studio is hidden; publishing a replay is a separate action.
  • Lifecycle: scheduled → input ready → connecting → live → ended → replay processing → replay ready. Only trusted provider state confirms live status. Timeouts and disconnects have clear recovery UI.
  • Host tools: title, audience, schedule/timezone, thumbnail, test preview, stream-key rotation, moderators, chat permissions, slow mode, timeout/ban and immediate end-stream.
  • Protect stream keys as credentials. Return only to authorized hosts after reauthentication; never put them in analytics, shared URLs, rendered HTML or logs.
  • Chat: authorize on join and every send; apply blocks, membership and bans; bound history, rate limits and message length. Show replay chat as replay, never as a live conversation.
  • OBS live delivery has latency. Do not promise subsecond interaction. Multi-guest browser rooms require a separately evaluated WebRTC/SFU service and participant consent/recording controls.
  • Viewer counts come from a defined measurement with deduplication and delay. Scheduled examples must never display fake live badges or made-up audience counts.
  • Exit checks: unauthorized ingest/playback denied; provider disconnect recovery; moderator actions immediate; host kill switch works; archive rights/audience retained; replay deletion and caption workflow verified.

09 / GALOR SOCIAL

Messages and communities that feel human.

Messages include direct and group conversations, requests, attachments and explicit safety controls. Communities have ownership, rules, membership, topics, events and scoped moderation.

  • Message requests protect members from unsolicited contacts. Blocks prevent new delivery and invitations. Notifications omit message bodies by default; attachment access checks membership at retrieval time.
  • Realtime transport proposal: a dedicated Durable Object or supported managed realtime service per conversation/room, with authenticated WebSockets and hibernation where available. Persist messages before broadcasting.
  • Ordering: per-conversation sequence + client message ID; acknowledge delivery only after persistence, deduplicate retries, reconnect from last sequence and define receipts without claiming read certainty.
  • MVP messaging uses TLS and encrypted provider storage; do not claim end-to-end encryption. Genuine E2EE needs a separately reviewed key/device/recovery design.
  • Community types: public, private and invite-only. Separate owner/admin/mod/member roles; support join approvals, invite expiry, ownership transfer and removal appeals.
  • Community deletion/expulsion immediately changes content and message access. Member lists, search results and event links follow community privacy rules.
  • Exit checks: outsiders cannot enumerate conversations; removed members lose reads and sockets; duplicate sends remain single messages; reconnect preserves order; blocks apply across surfaces.

10 / GALOR SOCIAL

AI that helps members create.

Social AI helps people draft, caption, translate, summarize and improve accessibility. It runs through a provider-neutral GALOR gateway with explicit user actions and metered work.

  • Initial tasks: post ideas, caption variants, alt-text suggestions, article outlines, video titles/descriptions, transcript summaries and translation. Video rendering/remixing is a separate, higher-cost job class.
  • Job contract: task type, owner, input references, model/provider policy, reserved budget, state, result references and audit metadata. States: queued → running → succeeded/failed/cancelled. Support timeout, retry and reconciliation.
  • Authorization: fetch input assets through user-scoped permission checks; treat post text/transcripts as untrusted content. AI has no authority to message, spend, publish or execute tools without a separately authorized action.
  • User reviews output before publishing. Show provenance and synthetic-media disclosure. Never fabricate engagement, testimonials, people or earnings to make the product appear populated.
  • Privacy: private messages are excluded from AI context by default. Any opt-in summary is bounded to authorized participants, documented retention and appropriate provider terms.
  • Cost controls: per-account allowance, per-job maximum, reservation before execution, actual usage settlement, daily global cap and operator kill switch. No unlimited video generation promises.
  • Exit checks: cross-account input denial; prompt injection cannot publish or expose secrets; exhausted budget fails before provider work; cancelled jobs cannot later publish; usage reconciles against provider records.

11 / GALOR SOCIAL

A studio for the whole creator business.

One workspace brings content, schedules, live events, AI assistance, audience insights and earnings together. Every number has a definition and a real data source.

  • Library: drafts, scheduled/published posts, media processing states, caption editor, playlists, rights declarations, disclosure and policy status.
  • Analytics: reach, impressions, qualified views, watch time, retention, follows, returning viewers, community participation and conversions. Filter bots and disclose estimated/delayed metrics.
  • Revenue roadmap: creator subscriptions, paid communities, digital products, event tickets and voluntary tips. Advertising and revenue sharing follow real audience scale and a reviewed policy.
  • Platform pricing, creator fees, payout schedule and customer promises are TBD. No prices or income claims are approved by this blueprint.
  • Use existing GALOR account and store links where appropriate. A hosting purchase must not silently grant Social creator entitlements or vice versa.
  • Exit checks: creators only see their own analytics; scheduled content is recoverable; takedown state is visible; earnings match the ledger; downloadable reports exclude private audience identities.

12 / GALOR SOCIAL

Money has its own source of truth.

Extend GALOR commerce with a separately designed creator ledger and payment entitlements. Stripe Connect is a candidate, subject to availability, account review and supported business/country requirements.

  • Flow: eligibility → connected-account onboarding → seller capability verification → checkout → verified payment webhook → entitlement grant → platform/creator ledger allocation → payout/reconciliation.
  • Never trust checkout return URLs as payment proof. Verify webhook signatures, deduplicate event IDs and transactionally record ledger changes. Handle out-of-order events and failed processing.
  • Ledger entities: orders, order_items, transactions, transfers, fees, refunds, disputes and payouts. Integer minor currency units, explicit currency, immutable entries and compensating corrections.
  • Subscriptions handle renewals, grace periods, cancellation, failed payments, refunds and revoked access. A payout balance is not the same thing as gross sales.
  • No wallet/stored-value system in the first release. No creator payout activation until legal, tax, refunds, disputes and operational responsibilities are reviewed by the responsible specialists.
  • Exit checks: duplicate/out-of-order payment events do not double-credit; refund/dispute revokes correct entitlements; failed onboarding cannot accept unavailable payouts; daily ledger reconciliation has no unexplained differences.

13 / GALOR SOCIAL

A modular application, ready to grow.

Keep one application initially with domain boundaries. Add separate services when operational evidence calls for them. Managed media/realtime/queue services require explicit supported provisioning outside the current basic D1/R2 bindings.

  • Web/edge: current Vinext + Workers app with shared GALOR chrome. Modules: identity, graph, publishing, media, live, conversations, communities, discovery, AI, commerce, moderation and observability.
  • Data: retain D1 for the first social release and existing tables. Store media bytes in R2/managed video, not SQL. Add query indexes, bounded page sizes, transactional outbox and schema versioning.
  • Async: jobs → durable queue → domain worker → idempotent provider operation → verified callback → state transition. Use retry limits, exponential backoff, dead-letter handling and an operator replay tool.
  • Realtime: independently deployed room coordinator or managed service. Sites hosting currently declares DB and FILES only; verify support before adding queue/DO bindings. Use authenticated external endpoints if required.
  • Search starts with authorized indexed SQL/FTS over public content and explicit scope filters; use an external index when measured query latency or indexing load requires it. Deletions and privacy changes propagate promptly.
  • Scaling: monitor DB storage, write latency, scanned rows, hot queries and provider quotas. Review migration or partition strategy before 60% of the applicable D1 storage ceiling or sustained target breaches. D1 is not an unlimited single database.
  • Later scale path: migrate social domains to partitioned relational storage, dedicated search/event pipelines and personalized candidate generation using an outbox + backfill + dual-read validation. Keep account and media IDs stable.

14 / GALOR SOCIAL

A data model with ownership built in.

Extend the current network_* schema through additive, versioned migrations. Avoid destructive rewrites or duplicate identities. Foreign keys, unique constraints, permission joins and query indexes belong in the design.

  • Identity/graph: galor_accounts; auth_identities(unique provider,subject); network_profiles(existing user_id mapping); follows(unique follower,followee); blocks; mutes; follow_requests; privacy_settings; sessions/provider references.
  • Publishing: existing network_posts/comments/reactions/bookmarks; add audience, community_id, visibility/status and edited_at; post_media(post_id,asset_id,position); post_revisions; reposts; polls/options/votes; scheduled_posts.
  • Media/live: media_assets(owner_id,provider,provider_asset_id,state,audience,duration,bytes); media_variants; captions; playlists/items; live_events(host_id,input_ref,state,audience); live_sessions; chat_moderation_actions.
  • Conversations: conversations; conversation_members(unique conversation,user); messages(unique conversation,sequence and sender,client_id); message_receipts; message_requests; attachment_refs. Private message bodies never enter public search.
  • Communities: communities(unique slug,owner,privacy); memberships(unique community,user,role,state); invites(hashed token,expiry); rules; events; event_rsvps.
  • Operations: notifications(recipient,type,entity,read_at); reports(existing); moderation_actions(existing); appeals; audit_events; outbox_events; job_runs; provider_events(unique provider,event_id); quota_reservations; usage_ledger.
  • Commerce: creator_accounts; products; orders/items; payment_events; ledger_entries; entitlements; subscriptions; payouts; refunds/disputes. Keep financial audit records separate from mutable presentation counters.
  • Indexes: posts(author,created_at,id), posts(community,created_at,id), follows(follower,followee), messages(conversation,sequence), notifications(recipient,created_at), outbox(state,next_attempt_at), provider_events(provider,event_id).
  • Data lifecycle proposal: operational logs 30 days with redaction; message retention until deletion or policy obligation; user export links expire quickly; backup retention and erasure handling documented before launch. Final schedules require owner/legal review.

15 / GALOR SOCIAL

APIs and events before implementation.

Keep /api/network/* stable. Introduce /api/social/v1/* incrementally with validated inputs, bounded responses, server permission checks and consistent machine-readable errors.

  • Reads: GET /feed?scope=&cursor=; /profiles/:handle; /posts/:id; /search?q=&type=; /communities/:id; /videos/:id; /live/:id; /notifications; /conversations/:id/messages?after=.
  • Writes: POST /posts; PATCH/DELETE /posts/:id; PUT/DELETE /follows/:id; POST /uploads/reservations; POST /videos/:id/playback-token; POST /live; POST /conversations/:id/messages; POST /ai/jobs; POST /reports.
  • Standard writes include client request ID/idempotency key; validation uses Zod or equivalent; responses carry request ID and error code. Use 401/403/404/409/413/429/503 deliberately; private resource denial must resist existence probing.
  • Events: post.published, media.ready/failed/deleted, live.started/ended, message.persisted, membership.changed, moderation.actioned, ai.completed and payment.entitlement_changed. Each has event ID, schema version, actor, entity, timestamp and dedupe key.
  • Provider webhooks: separate signed endpoints for media, live and payment; verify raw payload/signature and timestamp per provider, persist receipt, enqueue and acknowledge quickly. State machines reject stale transitions.
  • Realtime tokens: short-lived, audience-bound, room-bound and user-bound; refresh rechecks membership. Socket establishment is not permanent authorization.
  • No prototype-only data is sent to these production contracts. A preview action remains a local preview unless a clearly labeled real integration exists.

16 / GALOR SOCIAL

Safety is part of the product.

Build reporting, moderation, privacy and operational response into every surface. The blueprint defines engineering controls and review work; it does not certify legal compliance.

  • Enforce authorization at server/data boundaries, same-origin write checks/CSRF controls, prepared SQL, schema validation, rate limits by account and network, and structured secret-free logs.
  • Media safety: verified file types, bounded upload sizes/duration, malware checks where applicable, image metadata handling, private quarantine before publication and operator review for flagged material.
  • Moderation: unified queue for posts, profiles, comments, messages, communities and live; triage severity, evidence access controls, actions, reason notices, appeals, audit trail and moderator workload coverage.
  • Live escalation: creator eligibility, moderator availability, host/ops end-stream and a documented urgent response process. Keep a human escalation path for time-sensitive severe abuse.
  • Legal/policy workstream: terms, privacy, community standards, copyright/takedown and counter-notice process, consent, age policy, paid-content/refund rules and country-specific review by qualified counsel.
  • Privacy requests cover source and derived data, media, AI results, search indexes and caches. Backups must not silently resurrect deleted accounts or content.
  • Account abuse: impersonation labels, new-account limits, anti-spam controls, appealable restrictions and explicit official staff verification. No automated irreversible bans based solely on AI judgment.

17 / GALOR SOCIAL

Measure reliability and the cost of growth.

Give operators a real control plane: feature flags, provider health, queues, usage, spending, moderation, incident status and rollback. Observability must avoid exposing member content or credentials.

  • Proposed SLOs after beta measurement: 99.9% monthly read API availability; p95 feed response below 500ms excluding network; p95 persisted chat delivery below 2s excluding network; measure video startup and rebuffering by device/network.
  • Track account activation, first contribution, week-1 retention, meaningful conversations, returning creators, report response time, media failures and cost per retained active user. Never report example metrics as production analytics.
  • Cost model: requests/CPU + SQL reads/writes/storage + image storage/egress + video minutes stored/delivered + live viewer-minutes + realtime + queue/search + AI units + payment fees + human moderation/support.
  • Usage worksheet: MAU × active-days × feed loads × queries; video viewers × plays × average minutes; live audience × duration; AI jobs × token/render use. Provider quotes and measured traffic determine actual costs; no fixed hosting cost is promised.
  • Budget controls: proposed alerts at 50/75/90% of an owner-set monthly budget, hard reservation limits before uploads/AI, concurrency caps and global disable flags. No new paid provider or subscription is activated by this plan.
  • Recovery goals proposed for beta: database RPO ≤1 hour and RTO ≤4 hours, verified through a restore drill and provider capability review. Media replication/version retention requires separate configuration.
  • Release controls: staging/prod isolation, additive migration + backup + smoke checks, small cohort rollout, reversible flags, automated health checks, dependency/secret scanning and a documented incident owner.
  • Provider outages degrade gracefully: queue generation, show processing delay, keep text feed readable, disable new live sessions when unhealthy and avoid duplicate charges or lost content.

18 / GALOR SOCIAL

Full ambition. Concrete release gates.

The whole vision stays in scope. Deliver it through testable milestones instead of opening unfinished services. Estimates below are preliminary engineering effort, not calendar dates or delivery promises.

  • R0 — Product/design foundation (1–2 engineer-weeks): this blueprint, route map, responsive interactive preview, current-code inventory and source/build verification. Complete when the owner can review every major surface and understand readiness.
  • R1 — Social beta (3–5 engineer-weeks): broaden profiles/feed, add privacy/audiences, onboarding, image uploads, notifications and account controls; retain existing moderation. Gate: two-account authorization tests, recoverable writes, staffed review queue, restore drill.
  • R2 — Communities + messages (4–6 engineer-weeks): roles, private membership, invitations, conversations, message requests, persistence/reconnect and scoped moderation. Gate: outsider/removed-member denial, ordered deduped delivery and abuse exercises.
  • R3 — Clips + Watch (3–5 engineer-weeks): upload reservations, processing state, playback authorization, captions, channels and playlists. Gate: signed provider callbacks, quota accounting, mobile playback and full media deletion.
  • R4 — Live (3–5 engineer-weeks): scheduled events, OBS ingest, trusted live state, chat moderation and replay. Gate: host access, disconnect recovery, end-stream drill and peak audience rehearsal.
  • R5 — AI + creator studio (3–5 engineer-weeks): gateway jobs, metering, draft assistance, schedule/library and real analytics. Gate: permission/budget isolation, provider reconciliation and no automatic publication.
  • R6 — Commerce + wider launch (4–7 engineer-weeks): creator onboarding, checkout, entitlements, refunds/disputes and ledger; complete policy/operational reviews. Gate: financial reconciliation, incident coverage and privacy/account lifecycle sign-off.
  • Total indicative effort: 20–33 engineer-weeks, excluding R0, counsel/vendor reviews, native apps and advanced guest studios. Overlap depends on staffing; one engineer will generally need multiple months. AI assistance does not remove review and operations work.
  • Beyond core: browser multi-guest studio, native mobile, collaborative video editing, accessibility translations, community courses, marketplace expansion, federated integrations and revenue sharing. Each needs its own validated specification and operating model.

19 / GALOR SOCIAL

Prove each release works.

Use the existing Node network test suite as the regression base. Add tests for real risks and state transitions, then verify the actual user journey on desktop and mobile.

  • Identity/privacy matrix: anonymous/member/blocked/banned/mod/admin across public/follower/community/private content. Test both direct API calls and UI, including metadata/search/notifications/export paths.
  • Cross-account tests: read, edit, delete, message, attachment retrieval, upload token, playback token, AI input and analytics must all reject an unrelated user.
  • Reliability tests: retries, provider timeout, duplicate/out-of-order callbacks, partial processing, reconnect and worker restart. Verify no double posts, duplicate payouts, leaked stream keys or orphaned quota reservations.
  • Performance: staged synthetic load at expected cohort traffic and 2× expected peak; page large feeds without full scans; rehearse live fanout. Set actual thresholds from measured provider capabilities.
  • Accessibility: keyboard-only posting/playback/moderation, screen-reader navigation, caption availability, reduced motion, zoom/reflow and mobile touch targets.
  • Release evidence: successful build/type checks; current network suite; smoke screenshots; auth/privacy results; migration backup/restore evidence; provider contract fixtures; operator runbook and an explicit go/no-go owner.
  • Rollback: turn off the affected capability without disabling GALOR commerce or workstations; leave jobs reconcilable and retain migration compatibility. Do not roll back schema destructively after writes.

20 / GALOR SOCIAL

The next executable engineering package.

Profile publishing, photo/video posts and browser live are implemented. The next packages extend the platform with independently testable services.

  • Notifications: transactional events, deduplication, unread state and delivery preferences.
  • Communities and messaging: scoped membership, private conversations, message requests, ordered delivery and removal/block enforcement.
  • Managed media: video transcoding, captions, moderation processing, storage lifecycle jobs and browser/device playback coverage.
  • Creator tools: scheduling, permission-aware analytics, metered AI jobs and separately reviewed commerce/payout services.
  • Operations: assign moderation coverage, monitor provider usage and costs, rehearse backup/restore and verify account recovery/export/deletion with the identity provider.
